April Events in Flagler County

April brings us some great events this year and we’re excited to share them with you!

The Flagler County Fair and Youth Show will be on from April 1st through the 6th. The Fair and Show includes rides, food, vendors, exhibits, a petting zoo, an Easter egg hunt, and so much more fun for the family! There will also be the 4H and FFA youth livestock show. On April 5th, as part of the Flagler County Fair, starting at noon the 2nd Annual Smokin’ on the Farms BBQ Competition will take place. The competition is open to anyone to enter and BBQ Dinners will be sold starting at 12pm. Stop by to get some delicious BBQ! Visit the Flagler County Fair’s website for more information.

Saturday, April 18th brings us the Annual Flagler Sheriff’s PAL Deputy Dash 5K & Block Party. Work up a sweat at the European Village in Palm Coast at 6:30pm until 10:00pm. For information visit www.flaglersheriffspal.com or call (386) 986-2323.

After a fun night out at the dash, spend your Sunday Funday night at the Eighth Annual Picnic & Pops Symphony in Central Park. Bring your picnic and enjoy the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra with gates opening at 6:30pm and music beginning at 8:00pm. Tickets are available for $40 for non-members and $35 for PCAF members. The Old Dixie Community Park is proud to be the location for the 55th Florida State Championship Tournament for the Flagler County Horseshoe Pitching Club. From April 22nd through the 25th, over 200 pitchers will be competing in 34 divisional classes. The events are free and open to the public.
